Jacobo Zabludovsky was a Mexican actor, journalist, and television presenter. He was born on May 24, 1928 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He was best known for his work as a news anchor for Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America. Zabludovsky began his career as an actor in the 1950s, appearing in several films and television series. He then moved into journalism, working as a reporter for the newspaper Excélsior. In the 1970s, he began working for Televisa, where he became the anchor of the news program Noticiero con Jacobo Zabludovsky. He was the face of the program for more than three decades, until his retirement in 2006. Zabludovsky was also a prolific writer, publishing several books on Mexican politics and culture. He was awarded the Order of the Aztec Eagle, Mexico's highest honor, in 2006. He passed away on August 28, 2019 at the age of 91. Jacobo Zabludovsky had an estimated net worth of $10 million.
